SIMMERS, Rev. Shirley, died on 3 March aged 92, at Malvina Major Retirement Village, where she received good care during 5 years of indifferent health.

She was married to David for 60 years and was the mother of Tony, Ngaire, Kathy and Eleanor.
Shirley was a church worker in Canada and Zambia, and latterly a NZ Presbyterian minister.

Shirley’s funeral will be held at The Ngaio Union Church, Corner of Crofton Road and Kenya Street,Ngaio, on Friday 8th March 2024 at 1.00pm and thereafter followed by interment at Makara Cemetery.
