CARR, Mary Isabel  – On Wednesday 20 December 2023, unexpected but peacefully at Wellington Regional Hospital, aged 87 years. 

Dearly loved wife of the late Alexander Carr. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Eleanor & Gavin, Greg & Nadine and Alastair & Angelene.

Devoted grandmother of Jennifer, Amanda, Alysha, Matthew, Jordan, Taylor & Nicole. 

Doting great grandmother of Jacob, Kian, Wyatt, Ryder & Flynn. 

Beloved sister of Janet and her husband Aldwyn. Sister-in-law of Alex's siblings, Elaine Maisey and Stuart Carr (deceased).

Loved by all her cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friend and Colleague to so many.

A true role model in how she lived her life, with a dedication to helping all and being an active part of the community.

Service for Mary will be held at St Hilda’s Anglican Church, 311 The Parade, Island Bay, Wellington on Thursday 28 December at 12:30pm, thereafter private cremation.
