Walen: Mavis (Dood), nee Adams
of Fergusson Rest Home and Hospital. Passed away peacefully at Hutt Hospital. On 31st October 2007 after a long struggle, in her 82nd year.

Dearly loved wife of the late Mick for 60 years. Precious mother and mother in law of Michael, Robert, Graham (deceased), and Diane and Rex. Special nana to Melanie and Rodi, Michael and Nicki, Jessica, Jason and Brendan, and great nana to Marco, Danyela and Astyn. Special friend to Peter Treweek.

"Mum, you were one in a million'.

Special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Hutt Hospital and also the staff at Fergusson for their care of Mum.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Stroke Foundation of NZ, PO Box 12482, Wellington, would be appreciated.

A service to celebrate Mavis's life will be held at the Harbour City Fergusson Chapel, Cnr Ward Street and Fergusson Drive, Upper Hutt on Saturday 3rd November 2007 at 11:00am.
