Alexa passed away peacefully at Otago hospice on Friday 10th Feb surrounded by her family.

Dearly loved wife and life long soulmate of Don. Cherished mother of (the late) Louise McGrouther, Marie Hanson and Chris Hunter, loved mother in law of Fraser, Nigel and Catherine. Loved Nams to Holly and Sean, Alex, Hannah and Ben.

Alexa was also the youngest daughter of the late Alec and Helen Gardner of Dunedin and littlest sister to Mary, Helen, Jan and (the late) Marion.

At Alexa’s own wish she will have a private cremation and private family gathering.
