Peacefully at Palmerston North Hospital on 29th August 2007. Aged 74 years.

Cherished husband of Paula. Beloved father and father in law of Kerry & Paul Hocquard (Palmerston North), Shelley & George Bignall (Petone), Sheelagh Wood & Phil Prosser (Melbourne), Gerard Wood & Sharon Fisher (Titahi Bay), Patrick & Kate Wood (Brisbane). Loved Grandad of Damian, Erin, Sarah, and Anna; James, Michael, Bede and Chris; Sam, Josh and Ben; Olivia, Caitlin and Matthew.

Much gratitude for the kindness shown to Neil and his family by the team of Ward 25 Palmerston North Hospital, The Otaki Medical Centre and Community Health Workers.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Manawatu Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the church.

Rosary will be held at St Mary's Catholic Church, Convent Road, Otaki on Thursday 30th August at 7pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the same venue on Friday 31st August at 11am followed by a burial at the Returned Serviceman's Section of the Otaki Public Cemetery.
