On Wednesday 1 December 2021, aged 59.

Peacefully at home in Wellington after a brave 4 year journey with cancer.

Beloved husband of Annick and much loved dad to Alex and Dan, loving son to the late John and Avian Withinshaw (UK). Loved brother to Clive (Sydney), Deborah and Hazel (UK).
Dearly loved brother-in-law to many and son-in-law to Christiane. Adored by his nieces and nephews and friends from around the world.

Our warmest thanks to Dr Anne O’Donnell, the Bowen Cancer Care team and Mary Potter Hospice for their wonderful support.

A service to celebrate Peter’s life will be held at Old St Paul’s, 34 Mulgrave Street, Wellington on Thursday 9 December at 1pm thereafter private cremation.

In accordance with the family’s wishes “Peter’s” funeral will be open to vaccinated people only and certificates must be shown upon arrival at the venue.
