Peacefully passed away at Wellington Hospital, aged 78 years.

Dearly loved husband of Rosemary. Respected father & father-in-law of Lee, Kerry, Grant, Bert and Jenny. Much loved poppie / granddad and great granddad to 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Wellington Free ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service or done online at www.wfa.org.nz. Messages to the family may be left in Michael’s tribute book above.

A service to celebrate the life of Michael will be held at The Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 375 Adelaide Road, Newtown, Wellington on Friday 3 December at 10:30am thereafter private cremation.

In accordance with the family’s wishes Michael’s funeral will be open to vaccinated people only and certificates must be shown upon arrival at the venue.
