Peacefully, on 22 September at Hutt Hospital after a short illness with family by her bedside.

Loved wife of James (Jim) McCartney (deceased) and adored mother of Mary, James (deceased), John, Ann and Susan. Mother-in-law of Ross, Linda, Bindy, John (deceased) and Mike. Super Gran to Alistair, Margarette, James, Sarah, Thomas, Georgia, Jordan and Abbey and a loving great grandmother to Elliot, Emily, Harlen and Lockie.

Mary loved flowers but she would welcome any donations to go to the SPCA www.spca.nz

A service to celebrate the life of Mary will be held at the Harbour City Funeral Home Chapel, 674 Fergusson Drive, Upper Hutt on Tuesday, 28 September at 2.00pm.
