AMMIELYN CAYABYAB CABRAL “Amie”

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 8th August 2021 aged 39 years after courageously combating her cancer journey of metastatic breast cancer for 26 months.

Amie, a devoted wife of Hyrine Cabral, loving mother to her daughter Amhyrine “Anne” (8 years old) and son Hyrine Jr “Alas” (2 years old).

Amie was loved and adored by her family and friends in the Philippines, Dubai and New Zealand.

A special thanks goes to the doctors, nurses and all the staff at Wellington Regional Hospital and Mary Potter Hospice in Newtown. They have provided amazing support and care for Amie over the past 2 years.

A celebration of Amie’s life will be held at St Anne’s Catholic Church, 22 Emmett Street, Newtown, at 1:00 pm on Friday, 13th August 2021, followed by private cremation.
