Rongonui, Hokinga-mai-i Kent Kene (nee Parapara):

2 March 1944 - 17 July 2021.
Born in Rangitukia, died peacefully at Wellington Hospital, aged 77.

Kene is dearly loved and remembered by her whânau. Loving daughter of Tuhiwai and Tira Parapara. Much loved partner of the late David Chapman. Mother of Jacqueline Lee. Grandmother of Pania, Kody, Kylie, Nisan, Job and Destiny, and loving great grandmother of many.

Friends and family are welcome to come and say their final goodbyes at Village at the Park, before a whânau service to celebrate Kene’s life is held at Harbour City Crematorium on Tuesday 20 July 2021 at 10.30am.
