'A life filled with love is a life lived to the full'

Nana Hammond. It is a name synonymous with unconditional love, joy, cheeky laughter, kindness, patience, and sincerity.

The words do not exist to express how adored you were as a grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

You may have left us for now, but the endless memories of time spent with Nana Hammond will live on forever in our hearts...

Walking laps of Oxford for hours on end.
Talking to every stranger you passed in the street, strangely always finding a way that our family was related to theirs.
Collecting bits of driftwood from the side of the road, why they were even there in the middle of the country was anybody's guess?
Picnics on the Avon, swimming at the gardens.
The intense excitement of hearing the silver Suzuki come up the drive, and the inevitable jars of jam, magazines, or op-shop goodies that were waiting inside.
Stay-overs in the spare room, always be tucked in, even if you thought you were too old for it.
Cod liver oil!!!
Endless pots of tea, the yellow salad dressing jug, the homemade salad dressing!
Blue floral table cloths, gollywogs, smelly ducks.
Lolly scrambles at Christmas.
Photo albums for days!
Kangaroo Juice...
Learning to knit, sew and spin wool.
Crochet blankets.

Your love, laughter, and light will live on for generations to come in the ones you left behind.

Good night sweet lady, until we meet again.
