HARGRAVE, RONALD FREDERICK

Passed away on 11 June 2021 at Kaikohe Care after a long illness borne with courageous strength.

Dearly loved husband of Patricia (Paihia, and formerly of Wellington) and adored father of Petrina Hargrave (Wellington), Bianca Hinkley (Melbourne) and Christiane Klauss (Whangarei). Respected father-in-law of Shieak Tzeng and Matthew Hinkley. Much loved Gong Gong of Aurie and Alexis Tzeng, Ella and Emily Hinkley and Monty and Finn Klauss. Loved son of the late John and Alice Hargrave. Loved brother of John Hargrave and the late Margaret Jamieson and brother-in-law of Sandra Hargrave, Michael and Andy Watson, Mary Watson, Patrick and Evelyn Watson, the late Andrew Jamieson and uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the loving care and support from Bay of Islands Hospital and Kaikohe Care.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Ron to Kaikohe Care Centre, PO Box 267, Kaikohe would be appreciated.

A celebration of Ron’s life will be held on Saturday 10 July 2021 at 11am at Old St Paul’s, 34 Mulgrave St, Wellington, prior to private cremation.
