Wala, Edward John (Eddie) on the 11th of May 2021 peacefully at Wellington Hospital, aged 82 years.

Dearly loved husband and friend of Margaret Wala, loved father of Mark, Robert, Halina, and Edward.

Much loved grandfather of Jessica, Samuel, Thomas, Jacob, Charlotte, Mathew, Grace, and Christian.

Loved brother of Renata and Wesley.

The Wala family would like to acknowledge all the Polish Children of Pahiatua of which Eddie was so proud to be one.

Special thanks to the Margaret Stewart Hospital and Wellington Hospital’s North 5C staff who cared for Eddie. Your support has been greatly appreciated and we thank you very much.  A special thank you to Dr Philip Matheson for all his care over the last 9 years.

Eddies funeral service will be held at the St Martin de Porres, Catholic Church, 8 Park Avenue, Epuni, Lower Hutt on Tuesday 18th May 2021 at 11.00am followed by a private burial.
