Godinet, Tama’aau ‘Petelo’

Passed away peacefully on 16th February 2021, aged 96.

Beloved son of the Late Eneliko Henry and Akenese. Loved brother of Taufagaafa Lolesio and Pule, the late Malia and Fa’atau, the Late Pelenato and Epi, the Late Laupisi and Tafaese, the Late Fa’amamafa and Fagaiava, the Late Ene and Ane, the Late Samoa and Amilagi. Adored and loving father of Paum? Pa’ualaisa, Sefine and Augafa Petelo, So’onalote and Tiaono So’oa, Ma’alona and Rebecca, Samoa and Hone, Uatea and Ale Schwalger, Tina and the Late Toetaua Savali, Vito and Murray, Maria and Les, Sosefina and the Late Lanu Foalima, and Lino and Corina. Loved by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and His great-great-grandchildren, Seluvaia, Hayley-Italia and Hawaiiki. Missed by his extended family and friends.

A Family Service will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church on Sunday 21st February, 2021 at 4pm followed by faigaleo.

A Requiem Mass to celebrate Petelo’s life will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, 152 Brougham Street, Mount Victoria, Wellington on Tuesday 23rd February 2021 at 10am, thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery.
