Beattie William John (Bill, Basher) - suddenly but peacefully at home with his family on Saturday 9 June 2007, aged 70 years.

Dearly loved husband and work mate of Lucy. Loved and respected father and father in law of Jocelyn and Robert, Jennifer and Wayne, Matthew and Aroha. Treasured Grandad of Rebecca, and Shaun; Emma, and Susan; Chris, Nicole, Bradley, Nikita, Daniel, and Diana-Leigh.

In preference to flowers donations may be made to the Taranaki Hospice Foundation and can be left at the service.

Bill will be at home in Eltham with his family until Thursday.

A private family service will be held on Thursday morning.
