CHANDLER, Barry Lindsay:

Passed away peacefully on 2 December 2018, aged 83.

Adrianne and Barry had 61 years of happy married life. He was a much loved father and father-in-law of Mark, Paul and Maria, Leeanne and Steve (dec), Julie, Phil and Judy and also a foster Dad for many years. He was the cherished Grandad of Yvette, Morgan, Henri, Sarah, Grace, Victor and Ollie. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Lionel (dec), Trevor (dec) and Lucille, Colin and Shirley (dec), Wendy and Gary, Noel and Maureen and Uncle to their families.

Grateful thanks to Dr Franz Hubmann, the staff in the Cardio Unit of the Hutt Hospital and the staff at the Home of Compassion for their wonderful care of Barry and compassion for the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart Foundation or Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

A celebration of Barry’s life will be held at the Heretaunga Christian Centre, 51 Lane Street, Upper Hutt on Friday, 7 December at 1pm. Please come wearing something colourful.
