What can we say about someone who meant so much to us.

She was not only a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, but also a friend to all who knew her. She had such a huge capacity to extend her love to all both young and old and was an inspiration to each one of us.

When first diagnosed with breast cancer of five years ago, she sought conventional and alternative treatments. As the years progessed and the cancer progressed her determination to beat it never ceased.

Being a nurse she always had a very clear agenda of how she wanted to be treated. Her Doctor said that right from the outset Rick told him what she wanted and how she wanted it done. He said that there were patients that he loved to treat and others he was paid to treat, and she was one of the former. He had been her Doctor for 21 years.

She was always more concerned about others than about herself. Right up to the end Rick fought her battle without complaint or self pity. She was such an amazing woman. One whom we shall never forget and always love.

An angel only lent to be our lives for such a short time.
