On 5th November 2012 peacefully at Wellington Hospital surrounded by family.

Loving husband of YiJuan Chen. Loving father and father in law of GuoLong, Yuezhu and ZhiWei Ou, Kathy and Barry Cheung, Chiao. Grandfather to Kerry, Tiffany, Kristin, Susanna, Wendy and Andy.

A service for QiXian Tan will be held at the Cockburn Street Chapel, cnr Cockburn St & Onepu Rd, Kilbirnie on Thursday 8 November 2012 at 11am followed by burial at Taita Cemetery.
