Beloved husband and best friend of Pam (formerly Pearson, nee Doak). Much loved father & father-in-law of Melanie & Peter, Deirdre & Tristan, and Stephanie & Paul. Treasured and loved ‘GranGran’ of Rore, and much loved Grandad of Michael, and Teresa.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mary Potter Hospice, PO Box 7442, Newtown, Wellington would be appreciated.

Special thanks to District Nurses, Life Flight Trust, Wellington Free Ambulance and staff at Summerset for their love and care.

A service for Ray will be held at the Funeral Home Chapel, 9-11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu on Friday, 17 August 2012 at 2.00pm, to be followed by private cremation.
