OWEN, Irene Kathleen - (nee Goodin)
Suddenly and unexpectedly at Wellington Hospital on Saturday April 14, 2012 surrounded by her loving family, aged 57.

Cherished wife and best friend of Robert. Much loved and adored mother and mother-in-law and best friend of the late wee Andrew, Tracey and Rickie (Feilding), Lisa and Daniel (Masterton), Emma and Nathan (Masterton), and Ashleigh (Masterton). Loved stepmother of Willy and Jan (Palmerston North). Beloved Nana Owen of her 11 grandchildren and one bump. Loved by all her extended family.

A special thanks to all the medical and emergency staff in Masterton and Wellington in the great effort you took to save Irene's life, especially the Westpac Rescue Helicopter staff.

A service of celebration for Irene's life will be held at Rosewood, 415 Queen Street, Masterton on Friday April 20 at 10.30am followed by burial at Riverside Cemetery, River Road, Masterton.
