On March 1, 2012 passed away peacefully at Wellington Regional Hospital, aged 88 years.

Loving husband of the late Antonia Theadora (Toni).

Much loved Pop ,Opa and great-grandfather of Yvonne, Elleke, Irena, George, Natasha, Aiden, Susan ,Jason, Rosie, the late Mahinarangi, Hinewairangi and David, Loved brother of Netty and Antoon living in Holland and respected uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Max's funeral service will be held at the Cockburn Street Chapel, cnr of Onepu Road and Cockburn Street, Kilbirnie on Monday March 5, 2012 at 10.30am followed by private cremation.
