Passed away on 2 June, 2011 surrounded by his whanau and extended whanau.

Dearly beloved husband and soul mate of Pikiraukura Ritihia (nee Butler). Much cherished father of Phillip Whero Averous and Himiona Waru. Loving and adored koko to all his mokopuna.

We will cherish you always in our hearts.

Phillips tangihanga will be held at Te Tatua O Te Po Marae, 473 Hutt Road, Lower Hutt.
A service to celebrate the life of Phillip will be held at the same Marae on Tuesday 7 June, 2011 at 11:00am followed by burial.
