On May 29, 2011 at Wellington Hospital. Aged 95 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Frances. Much loved father and father-in-law of Janice and Stephen; Derek and Jane; and Geoffrey and Dallas. Loved grandfather of Duncan, Martin and Katherine, Dana and Callum, and Renee. Great-grandfather of Robert and William.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Red Cross PO Box 12140, Wellington 6144, would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

A service for John will be held at the Guardian Funeral Home Chapel, 4 Moorefield Road, Johnsonville on Wednesday 1st June 2011 at 11:00am followed by private cremation.
