On Thursday 12 May 2011, at home with her family aged 80 years young. At peace after a struggle with cancer.

Dearly loved wife of John for 57 years. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of David and Lynda (Chch), Peter and Denise (Blenheim), Shirley and Darryl Carpenter (Sydney), Murray and Jill (Blenheim), Judy and John West (Chch) and a much loved grandmother of Matthew and Michal; Aimee and Natalie; Jessica and Sam, and Sophie; Michael and Simon; Henry and George.

A service to celebrate Joy’s life will be held at the Wesley Centre, 3 Henry St, Blenheim on Tues 17 May at 1.30pm followed by private cremation.
