DRYSDALE, James Ian Laird (Ian)
on 1st January 2011 died peacefully surrounded by family at his daughter's home, aged 76 years.

Loved father and father-in-law of Brent and Mel, Kathy and Pete, Heather and Steve, Megan, and Bronwyn and Ray, loved granddad of Steven, and Allison; Robyn, and Philippa; Patrick, Joseph, and Hannah; and Jesse, and Briony, dearly remembered by his former wife Deirdre Drysdale, and his former partner Rangi Waitoa, loved brother and brother-in-law of Helen and Keith Backhouse (both deceased), Doug and Judith, Alison and Alan Valentine (both deceased), Hugh and Rosaleen McCarroll, and Bill and Linda McCarroll.

Many thanks for care and support from Rosemary Cave and the Mary Potter Hospice Team, Vivienne Coppell NUHS, and Robbie and the District Nurses.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Mary Potter Hospice would be appreciated.

Ian's funeral service will be held in the Cockburn Street Chapel, cnr Cockburn Street and Onepu Road, Kilbirnie on Thursday 6th January 2011 at 2:30pm.
