On 14 October 2010 at Wellington Hospital aged 95 years.

Beloved husband of the late Eileen. Most dearly loved and respected father and father in law of Garry, Ron and Carol (Paraparaumu), Dianne and Leo Smith (Auckland). Loved brother of Phyllis and Merne Thurston. Much loved Pop of Stephanie, Mathew, Janine, Lesley, Vanessa, Brendan, Mark, Melanie and Partners. Loved great grand pop (GGP) of eleven great grandchildren.

Always loved, already missed.

Special thanks to Helen for her wonderful care and respect for Dad.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left on the day of the service.

A service for Ken will be held in the Cockburn Street Chapel, Cnr of Cockburn Street and Onepu Road, Kilbirnie on Tuesday 19 October, 2010 at 11:30am followed by burial at Whenua Tapu Cemetery.
