On 5 September 2010 peacefully at home in Tauranga, surrounded by family.

Truly loved soul mate of Joy. Beloved father of Chris and John and stepfather of Gillian Humphries, Keith and Annette Meichtry, Chris and Deb Meichtry, Kim and Cathleen Meichtry and all of the grandchildren and great grandchildren from around the world.

A service for Alf will be held at Tauranga Park, 383 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga, on Wednesday 8 September at 2pm, followed by private cremation; all are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Waipuna Hospice, P O Box 1156, Tauranga.
