Peacefully, with his beloved wife Ann by his side, on Monday 30 August 2010, at I.C.U, Taranaki Base Hospital, aged 73 years.

Loved father and father-in-law of Bernadette van Dalen and Reuben Shalome, Franz and Pauline, Amanda van Dalen and Rick Morris.
Loved Opa and Grandpa of Eugene, Una, Umi, Euan; Marnix, Theo and Celeste.
