On 28th October 2009 peacefully at Mary Potter Hospice, Wellington aged 43.

Dearly loved partner of Dougal Austin. Loving mummy of Hawea and loved stepmum of Manaia. Dearly loved daughter of Isobel and Lester O'Brien (Napier) and loved sister and sister in law of Kathryn and Euan Brownlie (Nelson), Sharon and Craig Manssen (Tauranga) and Rachel and Brant Whitsed (Albury, NSW). Wonderful aunty to Alistair, Lachlan and Elsie Brownlie; Lucas and Sarah Manssen.

A service for Jenny will be held at The Pines, The Esplanade, Houghton Bay, Wellington on Monday 2 November 2009 at 11:00am. Jenny will be buried in Kawhakaputaputa (Wakapatu) Cemetery, Southland at a later date.
