Winterburn, Waimarea (Maria) (nee Takurua) of Palmerston North. On Saturday October 17th 2009 peacefully at home with her moko. Aged 52 years.

Dearly loved mother of David, Shane and Penny, Tawhai, and Tasha. Devoted Nan-Nan of Acacia, and Shiloh. Loved sister, aunty, cousin and friend of all her whanau.

Maria will be at home, 2 Colonial Place, Palmerston North until Thursday when she will travel to Motuiti Marae SHWY 1 Foxton for her funeral service which will be held on Friday 23rd October 2009 at 11am followed by burial at the Te Ao Urupa.
