Suddenly but peacefully, during the early hours of 9th October 2008 at his home in Otaki.

Much loved husband of Barbara.

Loving father and father-in-law of Paul, Dawn and Robert Hirschberg and grandfather to Andrea and Hamish Hirschberg.

A farewell service for Don wil be held at Harvey's Chapel Rangatira Street Otaki on Tuesday October 14th at 2.00pm thereafter private cremation at Horowhenua Crematorium, Levin.

In lieu of flowers donations to The Forrest and Bird Society would be appreciated.
