Havill, Simon passed suddenly on Friday 17-May 2024, while out walking with his loving partner Jennie Turner.

He will be missed by his children, Benjiman and Courtney, his partner, Jennie, his friends and his beloved dog, Frankie, who all loved him so much.Simon’s love for his building work, boating, fishing, bridge and lawn bowls touched all who knew him. 

He was passionate about his volunteer work at the Ronald McDonald House, which was a cause that was close to his heart – any contributions to this charity in his memory would be appreciated and may be made at www.rmhc.org.nz.

A private family funeral will be held. A celebration of Simon’s life will be held at the Silverstream Bowling Club, 37 Dunns Street, Silverstream, on Saturday 25-May 2024 at 2:00pm for friends and family to come together to celebrate his life and share memories.
