EASTHOPE, Ronald Newman (Dr) 11 December 1936 – 23 August 2022.

We are sad to announce the sudden passing of Ronald Newman Easthope of Wellington,
at home, in his 86th year. Dearly loved and loving husband of Margaret, and married for 59 years.

Loved father of Nicola and Jonathan, and father-in-law of Allan. Treasured Poppa to Savannah.

Ron was a dedicated cardiologist at Wellington Hospital for over 30 years, and then the hospital’s honorary archivist, and enthusiastic member of the Wellington Medical Historical Society. He will be greatly missed.

The family wish to thank the staff and friends at Village at the Park for their care and support.

By Ron’s request, a private service was held.
