Our gorgeous Valerie (Val) passed away peacefully on the 7th of July 2021, surrounded by family at Dunedin Hospital.

Mum to Pauline, David, Karen, Janice, and Michael. Loved Nana to Jodie, Bobbi, Adrienne, Samantha, Alana, Tracy, Allie and Gareth.

Loved Great-Nan to Antonia, India, Eli, Amelia, Rawiri, Ihaka, Miki, Cillian and Maddox.

Beloved sister and sister-in-law to Jack and Helen. Much adored Aunty and Great Aunty to Linda, Murray, Steve and Vicki (dec) and their children. Member of the community of Karitane and a much adored friend to many.

In lieu of a physical service, an online celebration of life was held for Val followed by a private cremation.

We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Dunedin Hospital and Access Community Health for their dedicated care of our Mum and Nan.
