Colin Francis Ingram 25 July 1945 - 22 March 2020

Colin died peacefully at 2.45am on Sunday 22 March 2020 at home with Katherine at his side after a brave struggle with circulation problems.

Dearly loved husband of 48 years to Katherine and loved father of Mark and Karl.

Colin was the son of the late Bart and the late Anne Ingram and loved brother of Marie, Hector, Anne, Jeanette, the late Kathleen, the late Joan and the late Gordon and their families.

He was born in Nelson, briefly lived in Oxford, brought up in Berhampore and attended Wellington Technical College before taking up the trade of electrician. He then worked for Asco Services and then with Kathy moved to Nelson as a salesman. He joined the New Zealand Railways in 1976 and with his wife and family lived in various places around New Zealand - Picton, Timaru (where he was on the committee of the Caroline Bay Association), Hamilton and finally Lower Hutt.

He was also an avid follower of racing, a great donor to the TAB and a long time supporter of Lotto with his last Lotto ticket providing the best collect!

Colin was a loved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, son-in-law and brother-in-law and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

At Colin's request there will be no funeral. His ashes will be interred at the Karori Cemetery Rose Garden-Burgundy Rose plot at a time to be advised.
