FAHEY Fr. Cronan (Thomas) O.F.M. Cap. on September 12th 2006 Peacefully at Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross, Dublin, Ireland. Aged 67 years.

Respected member of the Capuchin Order for 45 years. Fr. Cronan served in New Zealand for 37 years and was involved in parish ministry in Wellington and Christchurch. He was involved in ministries in Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland.

"Praise and bless my Lord and give Him thanks, and serve Him with great humility"

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St Patrick's Church, Childers Terrace Kilbirnie on Thursday evening September 21st 2006 at 7:30pm.

FAHEY (Fr Cronan (Thomas) O.F.M. Cap.) (Capuchin Friary, Church Street and formerly New Zealand) - September 12, 2006 (peacefully), at Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross; deeply regretted by his sisters Marie, Eileen and Margaret, godmother Aunt Kathleen, brothers-in-law Frank, Johnny, Ian and Philip, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, his Capuchin Confréres and friends.

A Requiem Mass was held in the Church of St Mary of the Angels, Church Street, Ireland and he was laid to rest in Dardistown Cemetery.
