On February 12, 2012, surrounded by her loving family; in her 77th year.

Dearly loved wife of the late Richard (Rijk). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Maria Rawson, Lianne van Egdom and Geoff Freeman, Nicola and Alan Hardie. Very much loved nana of Jonny and Amy Rawson, Nick and Nicole Rawson, Joshua and Jordan Aberhart, Jasmine and Rosie Hardie. Step nana to Mark and Jessica Freeman. Delighted to get to be a great nana to Baxter and Kyla Rawson, both born in January 2012. A treasured gift to Joan. Close and long time friend also to Eric Rawson, and Barrie Aberhart.

A service for Joan will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2.30pm on Thursday February 16, followed by private cremation.
