On February 6, 2012 at Marne Street Hospital, Dunedin peacefully after a long struggle; aged 84 years.
Dearly loved husband of Margaret. Loved father and father-in-law of Sue (Dunedin), Martin and Toni (Sydney), Kevin and Juli (Alexandra), Sharon and Wayne Williams (Dunedin), Bev and Mike Clark (Dunedin), Denise and Bruce (Dunedin), Steve and Mary-Jane (Dunedin), and the late Terry (Mick).
Loved father-in-law of Debbie (Dunedin). Loved Grandad of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Peter's Catholic Church, Omakau at 1:30pm on Friday February 10, followed by burial in the Omakau Cemetery. Rosary will be held in St Patrick's Basilica, Macandrew Road, Dunedin at 7pm on Thursday February 9. "At peace at last with Mick".
