On 19 July 2026, peacefully at Wairarapa Hospital, surrounded by his family. Aged 79.

Adored husband and best friend of Heather for over 55 years.

Loved father and father-in-law of Mark and Penny, Bridget, Craig and Anna. Treasured Grandad of Eva, Madi, Paige, Matthew and Isla. Will be missed by his siblings, extended family and friends. “Rest in peace until we meet again”

A service for David will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Rd, Carterton on Thursday 23 July at 11.00am followed by private cremation. David’s service will be livestreamed via his tribute page (click on light blue box at top of page)
