PHILIP, Garry Alexander (Joe). Of Carterton (Formerly of Taumarunui)

On 18th January 2026, peacefully at home in the presence of family. Aged 77 years.

Dearly loved husband of Bev for 53 years.

Loved father and father-in-law of Tash and Hank, Becky and Jeremy.

Loved Grandad of Brooke and Braedyn; Sean and Ryan.

Adored great Grandad of Addison and Layla.

Loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, ‘Poppa Joe’ and friend to many.

A special thanks to all who have cared for Garry (Joe) and supported the family during his illness.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Cancer Society via www.cancer.org.nz would be appreciated or may be left at the service.

A Celebration of Joe’s life will be held in St Mark’s Anglican Church, Cnr High Street South and Richmond Road, Carterton on Thursday 22nd January 2026 at 2.00pm followed by private cremation.
