On 2nd August 2025 at Wairarapa Hospital, in the presence of family. Aged 89 years.
Dearly loved husband of the late Dixie.
Loved father and father-in-law of Joanne and Blair, Christine and Aaron, Karen, Billy and Heidi.
Loved ‘Grandad Bill’ of Rex, Bonnie and Matt, Katie (deceased), Ben, Deanna, Delta and Ben.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Wellington Free Ambulance (Wairarapa Service) https://www.wfa.org.nz/donate would be appreciated or may be left at the service.

A service for Bill will be held in the Waihinga Centre, Texas Street, Martinborough on Thursday 7th August 2025 at 2.30pm followed by private cremation at Clareville.

Joanne and Blair, Christine and Aaron, Karen, Billy and Heidi and families wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who supported them in various ways during Bill’s recent illness and at the time of his passing.
We have appreciated the lovely cards, letters, flowers, food, phonecalls, tributes, visits, the offers of practical help and the presence of so many at the service.
A special thanks to Graeme Burnard for his comforting words, Peter and Jenny Giddens; Steph and Lynaire, to those who assisted with the catering, and all who contributed to farewelling Bill in a manner he would have appreciated.
