Passed away peacefully on Friday May 13, in the compassionate care of his Glendale family, with his family by his side; aged 93 years.

Much loved husband of the late Anne, loved and respected brother-in-law of the late Jean and Ian Dodds, loved and much cherished Dad of Bill, Robert, and Helen (Neill), loved and respected father-in-law of Linda, Margaret, and John, awesome Granddad and granddad-in-law of Jodie and Brad, Tilli and Nathan, Sam, Taylor, Kevin and Chloe, James and Victoria, Matthew and Kirstin, adored GG of Jack, Molly, and Indie, much loved Uncle of Allison, Stuart, and Barbara.

A service for Allen will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin at 11.a.m. on Friday, May 20, followed by a private cremation.
