Peacefully, on September 29, 2021, surrounded by her family at Dunedin Hospital, after a short illness; aged 86 years.

Much loved wife of the late Cornelius (Cor), loved Mum and mother-in-law of Susan and Allan McKillop, Christine Wood, Paul and Yoko, treasured Nana of Angela and Brian, Zac, and Maddie; Jenny; Beth and Nick, Joseph, and Charlie; Mac and Emma, Atticus, and Arabella; Mei; and the late Rea.

A service to celebrate Shirley’s life will be held in Holy Name Catholic Church, 420 Great King Street, at 2.00pm, on Tuesday October 5; followed by private cremation.
