On April 18, 2019, unexpectedly at Dunedin Hospital; aged 84 years.

Much loved and cherished wife of Martin for 63 years. Loved mother of Evan, Greg, and the late Steve, loved grandma of Ricky, Katie, James, Matt, Josh, Dylan, and Connor and loved ‘GG’ of Imogen, and Rhys.

A service for Ngaira will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 10am on Wednesday April 24, followed by private cremation.
