On February 12, 2019, at Dunedin Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle; aged 78 years.

Treasured husband and best-friend of Lorraine. Adoured Dad and father-in-law of Janeen, Melissa and Mike, precious Grandad of Georgia, Ella, Khaan, and Mya.

A celebration of Bert’s life will be held in the Dunedin Hospital Chapel, Ground Floor, 201 Great King Street, at 1.00pm, on Saturday February 16. In lieu of flowers donations to the Palliative Care Unit, Ward 8C, Dunedin Hospital would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
