van Laar – Neeltje (Nell)
5 days into her 99th year, our much loved Mum, Nana and Great Nana passed away peacefully on Thursday August 25, 2016, at Dunedin.

Much loved wife of the late Dirk Jan, whom she has now reunited with in peace and comfort.

She was very much loved by her daughter Rienka and the late Bob Williams and her son Dirk Jan and Audrey van Laar (Napier).

Loved and adored by her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Geoffrey and their respective families in Wellington, Dion, Brent, Deborah and Adele and their respective families in Napier.

A very special great grandmother to her great grandchildren in Wellington and Napier. We would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Mossbrae Home and Hospital in Mosgiel for their attentive care with nana this past 15 months and especially during her last week. Also to the staff at Frances Hodgkins, thank you for all your wonderful care of Nana during her 12 years there.

We are going to remember Nell in a service to be held at Hope and Sons chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin, at 10am on Monday August 29, followed by private cremation.
