HOLMES Nola Ruth (Lady Holmes)
Aged 87, died peacefully on Wednesday 30 March at St Joseph's Home of Compassion, after being farewelled by a gathering of her family and her greatest friend, Jude Bailey.

Dearly loved wife of Sir Frank Holmes for 63 years; loved mother of Ross and Janet, the late David and Rebecca, and dear friend of Lois. Loved Nanya of Tonya and Hafid; Michael and the late Greer; Christopher and Sheena; Robert and Jasmine; Andrew and Jacomina; Katherine; Jolene and Hau; Paul and Jola; Jessica and Brayden. Loved Great Nanya of Youcef and Nadia; Isabella; Elijah, Ayla, Zayliah and Jezariah; Phoenix and Farrah; Cooper; Nathaniel; Sylvester, Jacob, and Ollie.

The family are very grateful for the loving care Nola received from the staff of the Home of Compassion, the Hutt Valley DHB Orthopedic Ward, the Rose Unit of Oceania Heretaunga and Elder Family Matters.

In lieu of flowers donations to Wellington Free Ambulance PO Box 601 Wellington would be appreciated.

A private family funeral service and cremation is being held this weekend. An opportunity will be offered later for other friends to celebrate her life.
