On June 15, 2009 peacefully at Dunedin Hospital.

Much loved husband of Brenda, loved father and father-in-law of Glenys and Glenn Mitchell, Phil and Julie Caldwell. Special and adored grandad of Chris, Rianna, matthew, Daniel, and Jackson. Special step dad and grandad Jack of Greg and Janene, Hannah, and Matthew Sims; Glenn and Elizabeth, Cameron, Hayden, Mitchell, and Charlotte Sims; Carmen and Mile, Olivia, and Alice Pattinson. Loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Pat and Jim Wallace, Betty and Keith Diehl, the late Alan Corbishley and friend of the late Eleanor.

A service for Jack will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 1.30pm on Thursday June 18, followed by private cremation.
