On August 6, 2016 at Dunedin Hospital after a brief illness; aged 67 years. Beloved partner of Dayle, much loved father and father-in-law of Sanna and Blair, loved Opa of Kailen, and Rhys. Loved and respected brother and brother-in-law of Frank and Hilary, and uncle of Jacoba, Chris, Nick, and Petra. Dearly loved friend and Opa of Natasha, Jasmine, Francesca and their families. Loved former husband of Laila.

A service for Jon will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, at 3pm on Thursday August 11 followed by private cremation.
