BAMFORD, Leslie James (Les)

Passed away on October 7, 2014 at Yvette Williams Special Care Unit, Dunedin; aged 67 years. Loving husband for 43 years to Nancy.

Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Hilary and Craig Campbell, Nigel and Sarah Bamford.

Treasured Pop of Emma, Reuben, George and Sophie Campbell, Oliver and Isabella Bamford.

Brother and brother-in-law of Gordon and Loretta Bamford (Mosgiel), Joyce and Murray McKenzie (Queensland), Judy and Ron Caldwell (Dunedin) and much loved uncle of his nieces and nephews and their families.

Brother-in-law of Brian and Wendy Hall (Palmerston).

Special thanks to Paula Ryan from Parkinson’s Otago for her outstanding care.

Our grateful thanks to the staff at Bradford Manor and latterly at Yvette Williams Special Care Unit for the outstanding care Les received while in residence there.

A service to celebrate Les’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12.30pm on Saturday October 11, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Parkinson’s Otago which may be left at the service. Messages for the family 1 Weka Street, St Leonards, Dunedin 9022.
